A violent altercation involving several individuals occurred at Terminal 1 of Barcelona's airport, resulting in the arrest of four people.
For several years, a baggage wrapping service using plastic films has flourished at Barcelona's airport. This business was established without any license or regulation from local authorities.
These "wrappers" offer their services to travelers for a few euros in a somewhat chaotic manner.
However, on Saturday afternoon, passengers at Terminal 1 of El Prat Airport witnessed an unusual scene. For an unknown reason, some "wrappers" began fighting, using their rolls of plastic as weapons. The violent brawl continued for a few minutes and led to the arrest of several individuals.
The footage of this fight, which unfolded in front of astonished tourists ready to board their planes, has gone viral on social media.
According to El Caso, at least one person was injured in the altercation. A man was particularly affected with a head injury. Witnesses intervened to provide first aid and stop the bleeding before emergency services took over.
