She then found herself face-to-face with what she described as a demon.
The task? Cut down giant, seven-foot-tall blackberry bushes with tiny child-sized scissors, a cruel mission with no end. Kathy said it was her only offer, and she took it.

At one point, she claims to have walked endlessly down a dirt path, all while still unaware she was dead, or in danger.

He appeared younger and healthy. “If he’s dead and I’m with him, I must be dead too,” she realised.

Despite never being declared clinically dead, Kathy insists her soul had left her body. “It’s accepted in many groups now,” she says.
“If you’re in a coma, your consciousness can go wandering.” For her, this wasn’t a dream. It was real.
The Light at the End: From Hell to God’s Presence
Eventually, the torment ended. Kathy says she was brought before a divine presence she believes was God.
She was shown “an architect’s book”. a symbolic blueprint and was told she had more to do before her time was truly up.
Back to Earth, but Haunted by What She Saw
Kathy woke from her coma changed forever.
Though grateful to be alive, she says the memory of what she endured still haunts her. “I started in hell,” she says, “but I ended in the presence of God.”
