According to Lenta he was speaking at the National Defense University, when Erdogan emphasized that he does not see a readiness to end the Russian-Ukrainian conflict in the near future.
In the same speach he affirmed Turkey’s commitment to exerting every possible effort to halt the bloodshed.
He also took the oppotunity to point out that the fighting only benefits war profiteers and harms both neighboring nations.

Previously, Erdogan stood out as the sole voice at the NATO summit advocating for peace. A columnist from a Turkish newspaper highlighted that Erdogan’s initiative was crucial, as it brought attention to the urgent need for a ceasefire and peace negotiations.
