Ivanka Trump’s Iceland photos ignite fierce reaction across social media.
Ivanka Trump intended to share a glimpse of a family vacation in Iceland, but the photographs quickly became the center of a heated online debate after social media users filled the comment section with sarcastic remarks aimed at the Trump family.
The former White House adviser posted a series of images from the Nordic country, featuring her husband, Jared Kushner, and their three children during what appeared to be a weeklong holiday.
Vacation photos draw mocking responses
The Instagram post, simply captioned “Iceland,” showcased the family visiting waterfalls, green valleys and other well-known natural landmarks.
Several of the images showed Trump and Kushner embracing outdoors, including one where Kushner lifted his wife while the couple kissed beside a stream. Others featured the pair posing together against Iceland’s dramatic scenery.
Instead of focusing on the landscape, many commenters turned their attention toward the family’s political and business history.
“Did you discover this land also?”
Another widely shared comment read:
“Are you stealing land there too?”
According to Icelandic media, Trump and Kushner traveled through northern Iceland with their children—Arabella Rose, Joseph Frederick and Theodore James—during June 2026.
Reports said the family visited areas including Akureyri and the Fljót region, spending roughly a week exploring the country.
The photo collection also included quieter family moments, with the children sitting together on a bench while their parents stood behind them, along with several portraits of Trump posing alone near houses, gardens and waterfalls.
For much of the trip, Trump wore brown boots, leggings and a green military-style jacket, while Kushner appeared in casual outdoor clothing.

Staying away from politics
The Iceland images arrived only days after Trump shared another set of vacation photographs that appeared to show the family aboard a yacht, although she did not reveal where those pictures were taken.
Ivanka Trump served as a senior adviser during Donald Trump’s first administration but has largely remained outside frontline politics since her father’s return to the White House, previously saying she wants to prioritize family life.
Despite that lower political profile, her latest social media post demonstrated that even personal vacation snapshots continue to attract intense public scrutiny and political commentary.
