Social media feeds lit up like a Christmas tree after Donald Trump launched an uninhibited post spree covering everything from artificial intelligence guardrails to foreign policy and cash payouts.
Writing to his followers, the 80-year-old president claimed that the tech industry’s rapid expansion represents the single greatest financial opportunity in history, dismissing public anxiety over human extinction as total nonsense.
“The only control or ‘guardrails’ that AI needs is a STRONG AND SMART (High IQ!) PRESIDENT, and the U.S.A. has that, in spades!” the president declared early Monday. “The Trump Administration has stopped AI ‘people’ from doing bad, or potentially bad, ‘things,’ like Dario (Anthropic!), who is now pretending to be a ‘perfect little angel’ – and we will continue to do so!”
In subsequent posts, Trump warned that a “SICK conspiracy” was secretly helping China while telling “Conspiracy Theorists, Treasonists, Traitors, and Leakers” to “BEWARE!”
Beyond his tech tirade, posts touted data centers as the “Greatest Economic Development Engine in History — Bigger than Oil, Gold, Diamonds, or even the Internet.” Messaging continued throughout the day, touching on rising diesel prices caused by conflict in Ukraine, repeating promises of a $5,000 “Trump Dividend,” and claiming Iranian leaders desperately want “badly” to “make a deal.”
Critics Demand Immediate Removal
Opponents wasted little time leveraging the bizarre online episode to call for extreme constitutional action.
MeidasTouch co-founder Ben Meiselas posted a blistering video clip on X, pointing directly at the early-morning posting spree to argue that political leadership has completely unraveled.
“Is this not the most ridiculous crap you’ve ever heard?” the online news host asked viewers while discussing the president’s tech comments. “Can y’all just impeach and remove and 25th Amendment this guy and throw this criminal in jail where he belongs?”
Meiselas continued his verbal assault by laying out a laundry list of legal and personal controversies surrounding the Oval Office occupant.
“Maybe this is why sexual predators should not be in the Oval Office. Maybe this is why people who have bankrupted most of their businesses should not be in the Oval Office. Maybe this is why people who have been found civilly liable for sexual assault should not be in the Oval Office. This is why people who have been found liable for fraud should not be in the Oval Office.”
