Four flavors of Ceder’s-branded non-alcoholic spirits have been recalled across Canada due to potential mold contamination, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

The recall applies to specific lot codes sold in 500-milliliter bottles.

Though no illnesses have been reported, the agency is urging Canadians to check their bottles and avoid drinking any that match the affected batches.

Mold contamination in beverages can cause a range of health issues, particularly for people with weakened immune systems.

What to do if you have one

If you find one of these lot codes in your home, do not drink it.

You can return the product to the store where you purchased it for a potential refund, or safely dispose of it.

While no illnesses have been linked to the recall, mold can sometimes trigger symptoms similar to food poisoning.

If you experience any unusual health symptoms after consuming the affected products, contact a healthcare professional immediately.
