Frontline footage
A video shared by BFBS Forces News shows a British volunteer operating alongside Ukrainian troops under repeated drone threats.
The footage captures soldiers moving toward a frontline position while being monitored and targeted from above.
According to the report, the group faced multiple encounters with Russian drones during the advance.
Identity withheld
The individual featured is described as a former British Army soldier now serving with Ukrainian forces.
BFBS Forces News said it had verified the person’s identity but chose not to reveal their name for security reasons.
The video highlights the growing role of drone warfare in the conflict.
Foreign volunteers
Thousands of foreign nationals have joined Ukraine’s International Legion since the start of the war.
According to The Spectator, between 2,000 and 3,000 British citizens had enlisted by 2025.
This marks one of the largest mobilisations of British volunteers in a foreign conflict in recent history.
Aid missions
Alongside combat volunteers, others have supported Ukraine through humanitarian efforts.
Kirklees councillor John Lawson previously described how he and his brother survived a Russian drone and missile attack while delivering aid to Lviv.
Their convoy transported supplies including medical equipment, generators, clothing and vehicles to support local communities.
