Fast food has become a regular part of life for many people. A quick stop on the way home.

His advice? There are certain menu items he would never eat as a customer.
First on his list is fish and chips. He warns about something many people don’t consider—cross-contamination.
After frying battered fish, the kitchen staff would toss in a batch of fries. This wasn’t for flavor. It was their way of cleaning the oil.
Any leftover bits of fish batter were soaked up by the fries. That’s a big red flag for anyone with allergies. Even for those without allergies, it’s not the cleanest practice.
Luxfor also recommends steering clear of fried beef burgers. He says they can’t compare to a freshly grilled burger from a proper burger joint. The taste, the texture, the overall quality just isn’t there.
Another tip? Be cautious of food sitting out under heat lamps on the counter. These items are usually reheated and not made fresh.
That means soggy fries, dried-out meat, and lukewarm sides. Not exactly a delicious meal.
If you really want something from the menu, he says it’s okay to ask for a fresh batch. Most places will make it for you if you’re willing to wait a little longer.
Fast food will probably always have a place in our busy lives. But a little knowledge can go a long way.
The next time you’re about to order, it might be worth thinking twice.
