A new recall warns of undeclared allergens in a popular salad product.
Salad Recall Impacts 23 States

Taylor Farms has voluntarily recalled its Honey Balsamic Salad Kit due to an undeclared allergen, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The affected kits were shipped to major retailers including Walmart and Kroger, and sold in 23 states:
Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia.
Why the Salad Kit Is Being Pulled

The recall was issued because some of the salad kits may contain the wrong dressing. Specifically, an Asian sesame-ginger dressing instead of the advertised honey balsamic.
The sesame-ginger dressing contains soy and sesame, two common allergens that are not declared on the packaging.
What to Look For

The impacted product is the 8.3-ounce Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kit, with packaging that includes:
- Code dates starting with: “TFRS”
- Best-by dates: Up to and including September 4, 2025
Consumers are advised to check their refrigerator immediately. If you have this salad kit, return it to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
No Illnesses Reported

While no illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported so far, the FDA warns that the mislabeling poses a serious risk for individuals with soy or sesame allergies.
