The summer season is almost here. As the days get hotter and longer, many of us look forward to spending more time outside.
Whether it’s a day at the beach, a picnic in the park, or simply enjoying your backyard, warm weather brings a lot of joy.
But it also brings back a familiar annoyance — bugs. Especially mosquitoes.

These insects also show up indoors, buzzing around lights or hiding in corners.
Summer heat helps them breed faster. They don’t stop reproducing during the rest of the year, but June, July, and August give them perfect conditions to grow in number.
The good news? There’s a cheap and easy solution passed down in Spain from one generation to the next, according to El Economista.
It doesn’t require sprays or chemicals. All you need is water, sugar, apple cider vinegar, and a bit of dish soap.
The idea was shared by content creator @mariabelen_home on TikTok. And it’s been getting a lot of attention.
The method is simple. Grab a glass of water. Add two tablespoons of sugar. Then mix in three tablespoons of apple cider vinegar.
Finally, stir in one tablespoon of dish soap. Mix well until the sugar dissolves.
Once the mix is ready, place the container near windows or doors. These are common entry points where mosquitoes, flies, and fruit flies gather.
The smell attracts them. When they land, the soap traps them in the liquid. It works surprisingly well.
There’s no need for harsh insect sprays in your home. That’s good news for families with kids or pets. Plus, it only takes about a minute to make.
Many people online have already tried it and shared their results.
If you’re looking for a simple and natural way to enjoy summer without constant buzzing and biting, this is worth trying. Just set it out and let it do the work.
