Recently released surveillance footage has raised serious concerns about the conduct of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers at Miami International Airport.
The video appears to show TSA agents Josue Gonzalez and Labarrius Williams going through travelers' bags and allegedly taking money during security checks.
Both agents were arrested in July and are currently facing grand theft charges.
The investigation began after authorities noticed a pattern of thefts at Security Checkpoint E of the airport.
Surveillance footage revealed that the officers seemed to distract passengers during the screening process to steal money from their belongings.
In one instance, the video showed Williams and Gonzalez taking $600 from a passenger's wallet while the individual was being screened.
Both agents have pleaded not guilty and are awaiting their next court appearance.
