Amy Davidson, the mother of comedian Pete Davidson, has shared a heartfelt tribute to her late husband, Scott Davidson, on the 22nd anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

Scott Davidson, a firefighter, lost his life while responding to the attacks on the Twin Towers in 2001.

Amy posted a series of family photos taken before that tragic day, captioning them, "Happiest days of my life and I didn’t know it. Never forget and always be grateful."

The tribute included various images of Scott spending time with his children, eliciting emotional responses from viewers.

One commenter noted how Pete Davidson has done an excellent job of keeping his father's memory alive. Another praised Amy's courage, stating it's a testament to the human spirit.

Scott Davidson was only 33 years old when he died during the attacks, which killed nearly 3,000 people and injured thousands more.

According to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, Scott was last seen running up the stairs of the World Trade Center just before it collapsed.
