The prince gives shocking statement.

Public figures rarely revisit the moments that damaged their reputation most. Prince Harry has now done exactly that while addressing growing fears surrounding antisemitism in Britain.

According to Express, Fresh comments from the Duke of Sussex arrive as security concerns across the UK continue escalating following several violent incidents involving Jewish communities.

Prince Harry addresses rising tensions

Writing for the New Statesman, Harry warned that hostility directed toward Jewish people had reached a deeply alarming level.

Violence and threats reported in cities including London and Manchester have intensified concerns among British authorities, who recently raised the national terror threat level to “severe” for the first time in several years.

Harry argued that public anger surrounding events in the Middle East must not spill over into attacks targeting people based on religion or identity.

“Across the country, we are seeing a deeply troubling rise in anti-Semitism. Jewish communities – families, children, ordinary people – are being made to feel unsafe in the very places they call home,” wrote Prince Harry.

Old controversy revisited

Attention quickly turned toward Harry’s unusually direct reference to one of the most controversial moments of his younger years.

Back in 2005, photographs emerged showing the prince attending a costume party dressed in a Nazi uniform with a swastika armband — an incident that sparked international criticism and forced a public apology.

Harry now says that episode still shapes how he approaches discussions surrounding prejudice and extremism.

“I am acutely aware of my own past mistakes – thoughtless actions for which I have apologised, taken responsibility and learned from,” wrote Prince Harry.

Concerns over protests and public anger

Harry also stressed that criticism of governments and military actions should remain separate from hostility toward religious communities.

Without directly naming Israel, the duke referred to growing outrage surrounding the wars in Gaza and Lebanon while warning against collective blame.

Political demonstrations connected to Middle East conflicts have increased across Britain during recent months, alongside reports of rising antisemitic incidents.

Harry argued that legitimate political protest must not cross into intimidation or hatred aimed at Jewish people living far from the conflict itself.

Calls for responsibility

British officials and community leaders have repeatedly warned that tensions connected to international conflicts risk fueling domestic extremism.

Harry’s article urged greater responsibility from both political figures and the public, particularly during periods of heightened division and misinformation.

According to the duke, cycles of anger and retaliation only deepen existing fractures rather than resolving them.

Comments from the royal figure have already triggered widespread debate online, especially given his decision to openly connect current events with mistakes from his own past.
