CD Projekt Red recently brought in Karel Kolmann of Warhorse Studios, and now, according to a LinkedIn post, former Larian Studios designer Felix Pedulla has also joined the team developing The Witcher 4.

He hinted at the move with a playful reference to swapping “Baldur’s Gate dice” for “Polish steel,” and further clarified his destination by adding the tag “#Witcher4” to his announcement.
Industry background
According to his public profile, Pedulla spent more than six years at Larian, contributing to the cinematic work that helped define the style and tone of Baldur’s Gate 3.
His portfolio includes some of the game’s most widely discussed romantic sequences, which he previously showcased in a personal demo reel.
Before joining Larian, he worked at Crytek and contributed to projects for German Telekom during its Gamesload era, alongside freelance assignments across the industry.
His arrival marks another significant addition to CD Projekt Red’s roster as the studio builds out the creative backbone of its next major RPG.

Pedulla’s track record in interactive storytelling and character-driven scenes appears to be the main draw for his new role.
With The Witcher 4 still in early development, CD Projekt Red has been steadily assembling a team capable of handling a large-scale narrative production.
The studio has not provided new public details about the game, but the recruitment of high-profile designers suggests ongoing investment in cinematic direction and narrative craft.
For now, Pedulla’s announcement offers one of the few concrete insights into the talent shaping the next chapter of the Witcher series.
