Other international borders are also feeling the heat. A Russian missile recently crossed into Polish territory, and suspicious drones violated the skies over Romania.
European leaders are paying very close attention to this growing wave of sabotage. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte issued a stark warning late last year.
Massive daily losses
“We are Russia’s next target and we are already in danger,” Rutte said in December. He added Moscow might be ready to use direct military force against the alliance within five years.

CIA Director John Ratcliffe recently explained that Ukrainian forces are using artificial intelligence to control strike drones. The technology is so effective that newly arrived Russian recruits are being killed or wounded within just 20 to 30 minutes of reaching the combat zone.
American officials estimate Moscow loses around 30,000 soldiers every month. That massive casualty rate completely outpaces their ability to safely recruit new troops. Meanwhile, US diplomatic efforts to freeze the conflict have stalled. Neither the CIA nor NATO offered an official comment on the CBS News report.
