Looking at the footage, it seemed unbelievably easy for the “Ghosts” to hit the Russians.

Modern combat relies heavily on invisible networks of communication to keep machines moving forward.

When those digital eyes and ears suddenly go dark, front-line troops find themselves operating completely blind.

And it looks like the Russian forces on the annexed peninsula of Crimea will need a white cane for a while.

Striking the network

In a report posted on Telegram, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine said a secretive unit known as the Ghosts launched a highly coordinated wave of attacks against key military sites across occupied Crimea.

The operation took place throughout April 2026. It aimed to dismantle Russian support structures from within. Intelligence operatives specifically focused on taking down advanced radar systems, troop coordination networks, and communication hubs.

The strategy worked. By hitting these high-value sites, Ukrainian forces successfully disrupted vital enemy movements. The coordinated push crippled important electronic warfare equipment used daily by the occupation forces.

Blinding the fleet

The prolonged assault hit a wide variety of coastal targets. According to the official military report, agents took out a power station built solely to extend the range of attack drones.

Russian naval operations also took a heavy beating during the widespread strikes. The Ukrainian intelligence agency noted that critical surveillance systems belonging to the Black Sea Fleet were caught in the blast radius.

Even the highest command centers were not safe. Agents successfully hit an electronic warfare laboratory located directly on the roof of the main naval headquarters building.

Crippling the war machine

The destruction extended far beyond communication antennas and coastal radar stations. Operatives quickly shifted their focus. They set their sights on heavy aviation equipment housed at local airbases.

Military hangars storing advanced fighter jets were caught directly in the crosshairs. The intelligence agency confirmed that facilities housing Russian fighter aircraft sustained significant damage during the assault.

Fuel supplies quickly became another primary target for the reconnaissance unit. The agency reported a direct hit on a massive fuel storage tank located at a regional oil depot.

Stopping the trains

Moving troops and basic supplies has become increasingly dangerous for the occupying army. The logistics network is under constant pressure.

Just recently, Ukrainian forces expanded their hunt beyond stationary targets. The intelligence service stated that its drones successfully tracked and destroyed Russian locomotives hauling fuel and military hardware.

Every destroyed train severely limits front-line supplies. The relentless pressure continues to push Russian military infrastructure toward its breaking point.

The complete list

According to the report from the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the complete list of targets struck in the operation is:

  • communication and power hub for the “Geran/Gerbera” UAV relay station
  • “Podlyot-K1” radar system
  • MR-231-3 “Vaigach” naval radar system
electronic reconnaissance post, MR-231, “Serval” command system, and EW/ELINT assets
  • “Baltika-B” naval radar system
  • electronic warfare station and surveillance systems of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet
  • protective hangar sheltering a Su-24 aircraft
  • fuel storage tank at the ATAN oil depot
  • protective hangar sheltering a Su-30 aircraft
  • signals intelligence laboratory located on the roof of the Russian Black Sea Fleet headquarters building
