A Russian commentator has called for military strikes against several European countries and intensified attacks on Ukraine.

The prominent commentator Sergei Karnaukhov called for military strikes against several European countries during a broadcast on Solovyov Live.

He claimed that the attacks should be directed at military-related facilities in the various countries he mentioned.

“We should simply blow all military-industrial complex facilities in the Baltics, Eastern Europe, and certainly in Germany and France to pieces,” he said.

During the broadcast, Karnaukhov also argued that Russia should change its strategy to cause greater destruction in Ukraine, Express reports.

Calls for Escalation

In another part of the program, Karnaukhov referred to the large-scale attacks he believes should be carried out. He suggested that civilians could be given a few days to leave an area before it was attacked.

“The cities will simply be burned to the ground,” he said, later adding, “Then strikes will be carried out, and there will be a total purge.”

He also stated that the Polish city of Rzeszów should be targeted because it is an important hub for the transportation of military aid to Ukraine.

He further argued that Ukrainian port facilities, government buildings, and other critical infrastructure should be attacked, Express reports.

Continuing Tensions

Karnaukhov also warned that all countries assisting Kyiv faced a high risk of becoming involved in the conflict.

Toward the end of the broadcast, he summarized his position with the words: “Burn everything down.”

The inflammatory remarks come at a time when tensions between Russia and NATO are running high.

The statements underscore the extent of the tensions between Russia and the many countries that support Ukraine politically and militarily, Express reports.

EU Warns

Karnaukhov’s remarks coincide with growing concerns in Europe that the war could spread further, as we have previously reported.

In May, EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas warned that Russia could eventually choose to escalate the conflict beyond its current scope.

She described such a development as a very dangerous moment and noted that European countries are already preparing for various scenarios.
