Several popular foods and household items have been pulled from shelves across the United States in recent weeks.
From tacos and ice cream to fresh peaches, Peloton bikes and Costco prosecco, the latest recalls touch products many families keep in regular rotation.
If you shop at Aldi, Costco, Kroger, Trader Joe’s or major chains like Martin’s and Giant, it is worth taking a careful look through your pantry, fridge and freezer.
Multiple recalls at once
Regulators say the reasons behind the recalls vary.
Some products may contain undeclared allergens that could trigger dangerous reactions in sensitive people, while others pose risks from bacteria, broken parts or even exploding glass.

In most cases, customers can throw away the items or return them to the place of purchase for a refund. Anyone who experiences symptoms of allergic reaction, foodborne illness or injury after using a recalled product should seek medical advice promptly.
Here is a breakdown of the key recalls now in effect.
Taco kits with undeclared milk
Aldi has recalled certain Casa Mamita Soft Taco Dinner Kits in 28 states and the District of Columbia due to an undeclared milk allergen. The affected kits carry:

- Best by date: “MAR 15 26”
These were sold in Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, Wisconsin, West Virginia and Washington DC.

No allergic reactions have been reported so far, but people with milk allergies are urged not to eat the products. Severe symptoms should be treated as an emergency.
Ice cream bars and peaches
Häagen-Dazs Chocolate Dark Chocolate Mini Bars have been recalled over an undeclared wheat allergen. The six-count boxes affected:

- Best by date: January 31, 2027
These were sold at Kroger and Giant Eagle locations in 31 states. People with wheat allergy or coeliac disease could suffer serious reactions, including anaphylaxis.
Separately, Moonlight and Kroger brand yellow and white peaches have been pulled from sale due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The peaches were distributed through Costco, Trader Joe’s and Kroger stores nationwide.

Listeria infections can be especially dangerous for pregnant people, older adults, young children and those with weakened immune systems.
Anyone with fever, muscle aches, nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea after eating these peaches should contact a healthcare professional.
Peloton bike safety issue
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission has also announced a recall of more than 800,000 Peloton bikes. The affected model is the Peloton Original Series Bike+ with:
- Model number: PL02
- Serial numbers starting with: “T”
These bikes were sold between January 2020 and April 2025 for about 2,495 dollars through Peloton, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Amazon and eBay. The seat post assembly can break during use, creating a fall and injury hazard.
There have been three reported incidents, including two injuries. Owners should stop using the bike until they have installed a replacement seat post.

Costco prosecco explosion risk
Finally, nearly 941,400 bottles of Costco sparkling wine have been recalled over an explosion hazard. The product is:
- Kirkland Signature Prosecco Valdobbiadene, 750 ml
- UPC: 196633883742
- Sold from April through August 2025
The bottles were available at Costco warehouses in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
There have been ten reports of bottles shattering or breaking while unopened, including one laceration injury.
