Taylor Swift has once again captured headlines and shattered records.

With the release of her eleventh studio album, "The Tortured Poets Department," the pop sensation soared past 200 million streams on Spotify in less than a day—a new record for the most streamed album in a single day on the platform.

Swift's Streaming Supremacy

Released just last Friday, "The Tortured Poets Department" not only dazzled Swift's fans but also marked a milestone in streaming history.

According to entertainment news outlet Variety, while the final streaming count could climb even higher, the initial figures already ensure Swift’s dominance on Spotify.

Her latest release pushes her past her own previous records held by "Midnights" and the re-recorded "1989 (Taylor's Version)," making Swift the artist behind the top three most streamed albums in a single day on the platform.
